Environment
Parking spots are among the best locations for solar generation. A canopy requires no new soil sealing, no modification of natural land, and rarely disturbs anyone. Parked cars get shade and shelter for free.
Direct solar-to-EV charging
Indergy builds charging points that connect solar canopies directly to electric vehicles. No electricity grid. No external storage. Energy flows from the sun into the car's battery — and nowhere else.
How it works
A solar canopy over the parking spot, power electronics that follow the sun's output, and a charge point that hands that power to the car as it comes.
Solar modules are mounted above existing parking spaces. The ground underneath stays exactly as it was — and the parked car gets a roof.
Power electronics take the array's DC output and match it to what the battery can accept right now. Nothing is buffered, nothing is exported.
The car charges with whatever the sun is delivering, following the curve of the day. The car's own battery is the only storage in the system.

Why direct
Direct solar-to-EV has advantages that traditional grid-connected charge points simply cannot offer.
Parking spots are among the best locations for solar generation. A canopy requires no new soil sealing, no modification of natural land, and rarely disturbs anyone. Parked cars get shade and shelter for free.
Grid-independent generation can become an important pillar for security of energy supply. If there is a blackout in the grid, EVs can still be charged — the sun does not go offline with the substation.
European grids are overloaded. Approval for a grid connection has long lead times, and the cost of a grid upgrade can overturn a charge point's financial viability. Direct solar-to-EV side-steps those issues entirely.
Side by side
We work with parking lot owners, fleet operators and municipalities to turn parking areas into charging points that stand on their own. Tell us about your site.
